1 The Outdoor Experts Forum: a meeting place for the outdoor sports community

For a number of years now, the outdoor Expert Forum has been the place to be when it comes to outdoor sports. Numerous guests from sports brands and local authorities attended the event. They were able to take part in round-table discussions on pre-defined themes. At the end of each conference, the audience was given the opportunity to ask the speakers questions.

The first theme was climbing: what’s next for the most outdoor of indoor sports? The second theme was: is green innovation a source of value creation? Bertrand Barré (Zebra), Franco Fogliato (Salomon), Bruno Langlois (Carbios), Romain Millet (Millet) and Vincent Wauters (Rossignol) spent an hour discussing this topic.

After lunch, the General Manager of the FF Randonnée, the Vice-President of the Syndicat National des Accompagnateurs en Montagne and a member of Versant Sud Développement discussed the new face of hiking. The two closing themes were the mountain, the outdoor destination, and what’s at stake in trail & territory development. Many of these conferences are available for replay on outdoorexpertsforum
